Chocolate Cake -Gatten family famous!

1 cup oil

1 tsp salt

2 TBSP vinegar

2 cups sugar

1/2  c. cocoa

2 tsp vanilla

3 cups flour

2 tsp soda

2 cups water

mix together wet, then add dry.  MIX WELL, until there are no lumps!  Bake in 2 - 8" round pans or a 9 x 13 pan, or one 12" round pan.  Bake 350 degrees for 30-40 min.

Frosting:

2/3 c. cocoa

3-4 cups powdered sugar

1/3 cup margarine, melted

1 tsp vanilla

milk as needed.  

Mix until smooth. YUMMY!
