I usually cook ...okay, I've made this a few times. I usually cook it a total of 10 minutes at 400 degrees, stirring once or twice in between. I sometimes add 1/2 peanut butter before cooking for a yummy peanuty taste. I always add nuts before cooking as well. And coconut. Then, when I take it out of the oven, I mix in raisins or craisins and then press it into an 8 X 8 greased pan and let cool, then cut it into bars. It makes great granola bars. I omit the maple flavoring as well. Don't add dried fruit until it is done baking. But I do add tons of nuts and fruits. The fruits really sweeten it up.
